Job description
Your role as a Systems Project Leader working in Custody Systems will be key to help us achieve our goals – to manage a development team with project oversight and execution of the Custody functions strategic plans. You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects and acting as a liaison between technical staff, change management, and the relevant business groups. You will oversee numerous concurrent projects, tracking progress and reporting to various oversight bodies.

To be successful in this role, you will have to match the following responsibilities:

  • Leadership (managing and leading project team members for multiple custody initiatives);
  • Planning and Organization (understanding and seting project goals, workflows, complex business needs, gaps, and opportunities);
  • Product Management (ensuring methodology is followed for the project and be a proactive participant in following Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.)

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of project management/coordination experience preferably in financial services or technology industry;
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Management Information Systems, or equivalent work experience;
  • Experience using Project Workbench, or other project management tools;
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken;
  • Knowledge of financial services industry and business operations, areas of focus include transactional processing, corporate actions and trades;
  • Technical background, mostly Java, Oracle, SQL.

Additional requirements

  • Working experience using SQL, Oracle/DB2, Cobol, Java, and XML.
